TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE PROCESS OF DRY CLEANING
THAME SPECIALIST DRY CLEANING PROCESS IS CARRIED OUT USING APPROVED CONVENTIONAL TECHNIQUES.
WHILST EVERY CARE AND ATTENTION IS MAINTAINED THROUGHOUT THE SERVICE THE FOLLOWING REPRESENTS OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
All garments are cleaned according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Any damage caused to the garments as a result of following these instructions will be the responsibility of the manufacturer. Garments without a manufacturers care label will be cleaned at the owner’s risk.

IRONING &LAUNDRY TERMS & CONDITIONS
We would like to inform you of the terms under which we accept your ironing & laundry:
We will not be liable for pre-existing stains and damage to your garments; we do not take responsibility for the loss of buttons, buckles, fancy trimmings and zips, or damage caused by articles left in the pockets.
All items are checked for stains and damage prior to washing/ ironing, we will often note down pre-existing stains/damage, and will indicate this on a slip.
With reference to our laundry service we do not accept responsibility for discoloration, shrinkage, bleeding, fading or otherwise becoming altered and worn out by a standard tumble dry, it is the customers’ responsibility to indicate if their garments can be tumble dried and washed at the appropriate temperature.
We do not take responsibility for the discoloration of garments as a result of manufacturers’ negligence for laundry/ironing / dry cleaning items.
We cannot guarantee the removal of heavy stains.
All garments are processed in accordance with the instructions on the manufacturers’ label.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT CLEANING YOUR CURTAINS/SOFT FURNISHING
We would like to inform you of the terms which we accept your curtains/soft furnishing for cleaning:
Please be advised:
1. Curtains/ soft furnishing Dry Cleaned for the first time may be liable to some shrinkage, up to 5% as advised by industry specialists
2. Older curtains/soft furnishing where lining has been weakened by sunlight (the lining) may not withstand the dry-cleaning process and the lining may disintegrate.
3. All curtains/soft furnishings are cleaned according to the manufacturer’s instructions; any damage caused as a result of following these instructions will be the responsibility of the manufacturer.
4. Handmade curtains/soft furnishings with no care label will be cleaned at the owner’s risk.
5. Curtains with thermal lining and blackout lining will be cleaned at the owners’ risk.
6. We do not take responsibility for the loss of fancy trimmings, buttons, or eyelets on all curtains.
Apart from the points above, if we feel that your curtains/soft furnishings are particularly at risk we will request a signature as acceptance of the risks before we clean it.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
GARMENTS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN COLLECTED FOR MORE THAN 3 MONTHS WILL BE DONATED TO A LOCAL CHARITY OR SOLD TO RECOVER THE COST OF CLEANING.

- We cannot guarantee complete removal of stains and we will not accept responsibility for the condition of the fabric after repeated attempts to remove a stain.
- We will not take responsibility for the condition of clothing that is being cleaned against our advice.
- Garments with varying fabric combinations will be cleaned at the owner’s risk.
- Handmade garments which do not have care instructions will only be cleaned at the owner’s risk
- Vintage Garments/garments of sentimental value without care labels will only be cleaned at the owners risk
